1. Youtube
YouTube is the most-searched site for movies, and for good reason. They may not be the most well-known movies, but there can be a few good ones.
2. Crackle
Crackle is owned by Sony. While it has a sizable amount of relatively unknown movies and TV shows, you can find a blockbuster here and there. They do change the lineup quite frequently so check back periodically.
3. Vimeo
Like YouTube, Vimeo also offers free movies, both full-length and short. The presentation is cleaner than YouTube because there are fewer ads and they also offer an OnDemand selection for purchase.
4. Popcorn Flix
PopcornFlix is owned by Screen Media Ventures and includes movies, TV shows, and the full National Geographic series catalog.
5. Internet Archive
Internet Archive offers hundreds of movies to download via torrents. Besides movies, this site also offers music and books.
6. Open Culture
OpenCulture is just what it sounds like: culture in many different ways. There are free ebooks, online classes, lectures, and over 1,000 free movies.
7. Amazon
Did you know you can get free movies through Amazon without signing up for Prime?
8. Yidio
Yidio allows you to sort through free movies by rating (G, PG-13, etc) and genre (Comedy, Western, etc).
9. Viewster
Viewster offers anime, animation, and others.
10. TubiTV
TubiTV has over 7,000 titles and counting.
11. Veoh
Veoh is based out of San Diego and offers independent films as well as major studio releases.
12. Big Five Glories
If you love Turner Classic Movies, Big Five Glories is the site for you with hundreds of movies from the Golden Age. Big Five Glories is named for the big movie houses of the day: 20th Century Fox, RKO Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
13. Classic Cinema Online
Classic Cinema Online is another site for some well-known classics and the option of a discussion board.
14. Retrovision
Retrovision has an eclectic collection: some classics, some not. Still, you might be able to find a gem here.
15. MovieZoot
MovieZoot is yet another classics site.

17. Shocker Internet Drive In
Who doesn’t love an old-fashioned horror movie (besides me)? Shocker Internet Drive In has weekly featured films that are available to download. It’s more than a little kitschy with its drive-in theater frame around the movies, but it adds to the fun.
18. Snag Films
If documentaries are your thing, SnagFilms has about 10,000 of them beautifully laid out. Not only are they available through the website, but there is an IOS/Android app available.
