With a new emphasis on online education, there are thousands of options for both children and adults. Here are the top 20 online sources in just about any subject.
1. Udemy
Udemy offers 100,000 classes to over 24 million students. Courses range from $10.99 to over $200.00 but there are frequent sales. Categories include information technology, photography, music, and much more.

4. Duolingo
Duolingo has a language-learning website and mobile app, as well as a digital language-proficiency assessment exam for free. They also offer a premium service for a fee.
5. Master Class
MasterClass is touted as “online classes taught by the world’s greatest minds.” You can learn to writing thrillers from the James Patterson, the art of comedy from Steve Martin, dramatic writing from David Mamet, screenwriting from Aaron Sorkin, acting from Helen Mirren and Samuel L. Jackson, and directing from Ron Howard. A MasterClass all-access pass costs $180 per year or $15 per month. If you want only one class, they sell for $90 each. Looking for a creative outlet? Skillshare offers classes in animation, creative writing, film & video, illustration, music, photography as well as business analytics, entrepreneurship, marketing and more.

Coursera is anline learning platform founded in 2012 by Stanford professors Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller that offers over 3000 open online courses, specializations, and degrees. Check out “The Science of Well-Being”, currently being offered free during this pandemic.

LinkedIn Learning is offering a free month of over 1200 business courses, 600 software development course, 700 photography courses and more.
11. Udacity
Udacity offers programming, AI, cloud computing, and business classes online, many of which are free.
12. Alison
Alison offers free online diploma class in C Programming Language. Many other certificate and diploma classes available.
13. PluralSight
PluralSight has a free beginner’s guide to image editing in Photoshop as well as over 7000 other courses free for the month of April.

Future Learn offers short courses on journalism and writing, professional or academic accreditation, or online degrees.
